After test-driving a version of the new layout on one of my other sites last week, I have now ported it over to GiseleBundchenFan.com! The new layout and structure offers many new features to make the site better:

• The new layout is a lot cleaner and fresher than the old one. The familiar drop down menus are still at the top of the page, but everything else has been cleaned up and tidied to look neat, organized, and pleasant to the eye.
• All gallery pages now show more content on a single page - so less having to click Next, Next, Next to get to the page you want! Category pages now show 40 albums per page (up from 20 in the last layout) and albums now show 60 images per page (up from 30). This will make it easier to find things as there'll be less pages to hunt through.
• The Candids & Public Appearances categories have been split up. All Paparazzi candids are now separated in the Candids category, whereas all public events, appearances, backstage, etc, are together in the Public Appearances category. There are simply so many paparazzi candids of Gisele that it was not doable to keep them all in the same place!
• I have implemented a Style Switcher! If you're on the home page, you'll see "Choose Your Style" with 3 small colored squares underneath it. Click a square to change the header image and the site colors - go on, try both! ;) I'll be adding new headers on a regular basis, so enjoy!
• The front page now showcases the most recently updated albums and videos, instead of only the most recent images (though they are still there too, of course!). This gives a broader range of everything new added since your last visit, and helps ensure you don't miss a thing!
• I have installed a piece of Javascript called Lazy Loader. This will only loads images you are looking at, so browsing to a long page with many thumbnails, won't automatically make you download ALL thumbnails - only if you scroll down. Faster page loading times and faster browsing for you!
• Every album now has a new Download All option. This has been much requested in one form or another by visitors. Unfortunately I was not able to implement any method that would let you download zip files, it would simply put too much strain on my server. Instead, I have opted for a page that lists all images in an album as links. Then, using your favorite Download Manager (I'd recommend DownThemAll for Firefox, but anything similar will work fine), select the links below you want to download, and simply right-click > Down Them All to save all photos to your computer.
• The various News Feeds on the front page (Site Updates, Twitter, and Google News) have been arranged in tabs for a more organized look. The tabs work with cookies, so the next time you visit, it will display the tab you last looked at, remembering your preference!

Those are the main new features, but there's small improvements made all over the place - simply too many to list! I have tested the new layout in the latest versions of Firefox, Safari, Camino, Opera, and IE6 - it should work fine as long as you have an up-to-date browser. "It's official!

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady wed Thursday just before 6 p.m. at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif., Usmagazine.com confirms.

The bride, 28, donned a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana. Her three dogs also wore matching Dolce & Gabbana floral lace collars.

The ceremony -- which began at dusk -- was "very small and intimate," a source tells Us, adding that guests mostly consisted of immediate family. Brady's 18-month-old son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was also present.

(Fitting, as Bundchen once described her ideal wedding as "a simple ceremony...I don't like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people.")

After the wedding, they had a small gathering at their home in L.A.'s Brentwood neighborhood. Brady's wedding band was visible upon leaving the church, while Bundchen carried her new stepson to the car.

The Brazilian-born supermodel has been dating the New England Patriots quarterback, 31, since 2006.

A pal close to the couple told Us Bundchen and Brady are perfect together.

"She's definitely 'The One,'" the source said. "She really makes him comfortable and just happy."

Engagement rumors began to surface about the couple late last year. First, TMZ.com announced Brady popped the question Dec. 24 on a private plane, then People claimed they planned to wed in Costa Rica.

Bundchen, however, slammed both reports as false.

"Someone deduced I was getting engaged...I don't know how people are so creative," she told Brazilian magazine Caras Gi last month after receiving over 100 e-mails from pals asking about the engagement.

The couple purchased an $11.7 million plot of land in a gated community in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles late last year."

If you tried to visit the site in the past week, you probably noticed we were having some server problems, resulting in the site loading either very slowly, or not at all. This was due to a server issue with our web host, DreamHost, and it took a while to fix because it happened just as I was away on vacation for a few days (these things always pick the worst times!). Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know this has now been fixed, and everything should be back to normal! Please let me know if you still notice any errors or weirdness on the site anywhere!

Oh, and I'm pleased to report the problems with the RSS feed have been solved too, it should now be displaying correctly again and delivering all new images straight to your Inbox. :)
